Funded primarily through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), with supplemental
funding from the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health, Tobacco Prevention and Education,
the Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ARCC) provides a mechanism for collaboration for a diverse
group of local stakeholders. Coalition members are both individuals affected by cancer,
and representatives of public and private agencies engaged in cancer research,
surveillance, prevention and education, clinical and supportive care, and advocacy.
